The entire area of Trebuša is a place of tiny settlements and isolated, solitary farms scattered across an almost primeval world.

History: The region’s most interesting historical period was that of glass making. An abundance of timber and flint sand enabled the development of glažutas (glass works), which both thrived and waned during the 18th century.

Cultural heritage: Worthy of attention are the ethnological heritage and legacy of traditional rural architecture.

Trebuša is a large, natural park-like area inviting exploration. It is a land of forests and gorges full of pools and waterfalls. An extraordinary feature of Trebuša is its sulphur spring, which may be found just beside the Trebuščica river.
