A hike along the 100-kilometer route Walk of Peace is a great method of active relaxation in a natural environment; at the same time you'll learn more about the Isonzo Front (Soška fronta).

The route will lead you past six outdoor museums, military cemeteries and chapels, the Kluže fort near Bovec; you'll see the gorges of Koritnica, Soča and Tolminka rivers, idyllic mountain pastures, the Kozjak waterfall, ossuaries in Kobarid and Tolmin, the Sveti Duh (Holy Spirit) memorial church in Javorca, and much more.

At the Foundation's info centre you can hire a guide for a tour of the Walk of Peace or outdoor museums of World war I.
